A correct inventory starts before the first scan. Preparation determines the speed and accuracy of the entire process.
The inventory space is divided into areas as small and clearly delimited as possible — shelves, stands, storage areas. Each area receives a unique number, physically displayed at the location with a ticket.
Example of numbering: 101, 102, 103 ...
During the inventory, the goods do not move between areas or between the store and the warehouse.

Teams of 2 people are formed, each team receiving a set of assigned areas. Within the team, one person counts, the other scans. If the results do not match, the area is resumed from scratch.
Inventory lists with area numbers are printed, in which the results of counting and scanning are recorded.
Check that there are no unoperated documents in the app — shipments, receptions, returns of goods. All unissued documents influence the scriptural stock and must be completed before the inventory begins.
Don't sell during inventory.
