What are they?

Embedded reports are reports embedded directly into module pages, visible in context, without navigating to the reporting section.

The idea is simple: the relevant information should appear where it is needed. When a user opens a customer's file, they should not leave the page and open a separate report to see the order history — the information is already there.

Example

On the customer file can appear: the last orders, the last invoices, the most purchased products, the current balance, the payment history.

On an item's page you can see: stock at each location, latest stock movements, current orders that reserve merchandise.

On an order page you can see: shipment status, generated documents (invoices, AWBs), change history.

Difference from classic reports

A classic report is accessed separately, from the reporting module — the user chooses the report, sets filters, generates the result. A built-in report is always visible, automatically pre-filtered on the current context (client X, item Y, order Z), without any additional steps.

Built-in reports don't replace classic reports — they complement them. They are useful for quick consultation in context, not for detailed analysis.
