What is it

The price checker is an Android tablet located in the store, which the customer uses to check the price of a product by scanning the barcode. It connects via API to the Datagate application and displays updated information in real-time.

What it displays

• Current price — the price at which the product is currently sold
• Initial price / RRP — manufacturer's recommended price or seasonal price
• Discount — the percentage and amount of the discount from the original price
• SGR — the amount of the return guarantee of the packaging, if applicable
• Prices per quantity — up to 2 price levels (e.g. 1 pc = 5 lei, 3 pcs = 12 lei)

The information is taken directly from the price management module, so that the price displayed on the price checker always corresponds to the house price.
