What is it

RS Supermarket is the fast sales module in the Retail System. It is optimized for stores with a high volume of transactions where speed and automation are essential: supermarkets, grocery stores, convenience stores.

Main features

Desktop application with local database — works offline, without depending on the server connection. If the network goes down, the store continues to sell. Synchronization with the central server is done periodically or upon reconnection.

Touch screen, no keyboard — the interface is fully designed for finger operation on the touchscreen. The buttons are large, the actions are accessible with minimal touches. An experienced cashier doesn't look at the screen — he scans and collects almost mechanically.

Integrated peripherals — RS Supermarket works with an ecosystem of hardware devices:

Tabletop scanner — continuous scanning without picking up the product
Scale — for products sold by weight, connected directly to the app
Customer display — secondary screen that shows the customer the scanned products and the total
Price checker — in-store tablets where the customer checks the price by scanning the product
SGR — integration with the package guarantee and return system

Pre-calculated discounts

Unlike RS Mall, where the seller interactively decides which discount to apply, in RS Supermarket the discounts are pre-calculated and cannot be changed at the checkout. The price and promotion are set in advance through the price management module — the cashier does not intervene.

This approach eliminates human error and speeds up the transaction: the product is scanned, the price and discount appear automatically, the cashier makes no decision.

Cashing out

The collection supports cash and bank card. When paying with cash, the app offers counting aid — it automatically calculates the change and suggests the optimal combination of banknotes and coins.

It also includes fraud detection methods — for example, it displays the image of the scanned item to prevent the tags from changing.
