SGR (Guarantee-Return System) is the legal mechanism by which customers pay a guarantee when purchasing products in returnable packaging and receive it back upon returning the packaging.
RS Supermarket automatically manages the SGR component at the sale: the amount of the guarantee is added separately on the receipt, visible to the customer both on the display at the checkout and on the printed tax receipt.
When returning the packaging, the SGR voucher issued by the collection machine is scanned at the checkout and subtracted from the value of the current purchase.
